China now has it's own amphibious gull-wingend sportscar



Beijing, 260608. This very interesting amphibious sportscar with gull-wing doors was spotted somewhere in this country. The original post on a Sina.com blog didn't mention anything more than that the car was based on a Volkswagen Santana which I find hard to believe.

The rear lights could be from a Santana, maybe that's why the Chinese blogger assumed that the whole car is based on it. I have never seen a Santana with two propellers and a huge mid-mounted exhaust pipe but crazier things have happened. Whenever I get more info on this vehicle I will update this post immediately.
